Easy Apple Dumplings

Easy Apple Dumplings

Ingredients:
1 tube of canned buttermilk biscuits(10 biscuits)
1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp nutmeg

Glaze Ingredients:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tsp whole milk

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Melt the butter in the baking dish.
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Dip each biscuit in the melted butter, and coat both sides of sides biscuits with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Arrange biscuits side by side in the bottom of baking dish.

In the bowl with the left over cinnamon sugar mixture, mix in the can of apple filling and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla. Mix well as well as chopping up the apples into smaller pieces. Arrange over the biscuits. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden and puffy.

Mix together the ingredients for the glaze. Drizzle on top.
