Chocolate Orange Fudge
Fudge is a surprisingly easy treat to bake. It doesn't take much hands-on time, there are hardly any ingredients, and the results are beautiful.
Fudge makes a perfect homemade gift as well, it keeps very well and can be dressed up in cellophane or a nice jar.
I took a lot of this into my lab for morning tea one morning, everyone LOVED it. It had completely disappeared before the end of the day. I think that's as good a sign as any that this is a must try.
- Chocolate Orange Fudge Recipe:
Makes about 20 pieces
200 g Light condensed milk
100 g butter
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Terry's Chocolate Orange (175 g, or 175 g of milk chocolate with orange essence)
1. Line the base of a 20 cm slice pan with baking paper.
2. Combine the condensed milk, butter, and sugar in a saucepan over a low heat. Heat for 8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
3. Add the chocolate, stir until melted and well combined. Pour into the prepared pan and chill until set.
4. Cut into small squares and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
I can't wait to try this! Chocolate = LOVE
